Daniel beautiful shot, great HA, BG and perch, wish I could see a little bit more detail in the snow but at f/5.6 it's not going to happen.
You got the focus where it was needed on the bird, very nice.

Beautiful, Dan! That bird just pops from the background with that color combination. I really like the composition as whole even though I would probably try to remove that twig that goes out of frame on the left side.

Beautiful shot Dan, I would suggest lowering the saturation and luminosity of the yellows just a little (they are clipped).

Gorgeous and technically perfect. The perch frames the bird perfectly. Envious :)

A species high on my list to photograph. So nice. Love the snow and how the bird just jumps out at you. I would have been guilty of cloning out the 2 vertical branches but see how it works as is.

What a lovely birds you've got there in Canada Dan. Not much i could add to the discussion as the image is almost perfect. If possible i would try to clear that broken perch in front of the bird or make it less visible. I can't see anything else that could be corrected.

Agree about the middle vertical twig but that apart this really is an excellent shot, bird shows beautifully against that pale bg.
