    Default Marsh Harrier

Taken in April 2007 at Minsmere in Suffolk, England, about an hour after sunrise.

    Canon 1D mk2N, 500f4 L

Pulled back to give the bird a bit more room to take in the expanse of the reed beds over which it was hunting

    Hi Martin,

I like the pose and eye, and the inclusion of the habitat. If this were mine, I would crop it differently to get the bird off center.

Thanks for sharing this, one of my favorite birds :D

Right on Fabs. Lots off the bottom and a bit off the left. Nice and sharp and a cool bird.

Great pose and BG, Martin. I would just go for a slightly tighter crop and put the harrier relatively far left in the frame.

Great flightshot. I agree that a panoramic crop would make this one even stronger.
