    Shot taken with:
    Canon EOS 5D Mark IV
    EF600mm f/4L IS II USM
    ƒ/6.3
    1/500
    ISO 2000

Shot this one today morning in local forest close to my home. Taken from mobile hide. Bird attracted with suet.
Wonder what you think about it. It's not as tight picture as previous ones and this is about 60% of frame. Previous ones weren't cropped a lot cause they were taken with 1.4 converter.

    Tomas:
Well exposed, nice display of classic woodpecker tail prop, and the good grip on the slightly raised knob.

I like the diagonal of the branch, the moss and detail. The trunk is a bit overpowering for the bird, so might consider some mild tweaking of the comp to downplay that a bit.

    Cheers

I'm OK with the perch, but agree with Randy on all other points. If anything else, I'd more than likely eliminate the small white rice-shaped spec on the perch, approaching the top right corner - although small my eye does wander to it more than I prefer.
