    Hi John,
    I like the green you have captured on the head and the water droplets are nice. I am wondering if you can pull out more detail in the lower front of the bird and might try see how image looks with some cropped off the top.

    Allen took the words out of my mouth. Perfect suggestions. I also would lower the contrast a little on the bird or perhaps try to lift the midtones and see if that works. Otherwise the pose and the details and the background look nice. Always thought they were a super under appreciated bird. Ubiquitous but crazy beautiful.

    All good suggestions above. Better yet would have been to select an AF point that would have placed the bird higher in the frame to start with ... Thanks a stack for your membership support.
