Hi all just to start of this month theme with a ...... Seal image
Taken on Helgoland Island in Dec 2016, this couple was having fun in the shallow waters . Well mainly fun for the male .... as she was trying to escape most of the times , but for a Seal bull he behaved quite gentle .
The stopped playing around to check out that thing on the beach ..... me . So took the chance to take the image with that position i liked.

Hi Andreas - Great low pov. I might darken the line of light oof water/mush at and below your name. I find it drawing the eye. I'm not sure if the second seal adds or detracts here. I think I want a bit of separation between them. Let's see what others say.

Thanks Rachel for your comment , as always much appreciated
    Very quiet ...in here

Yes i could blend that lighter patch in , thank you for the pointer . I have no image with better separation but i am ok with it , and i wanted it as taken .... meaning the one in the back OOF . Giving more depth to the image and also telling a story in the male /female behavior . Well not visible in first place .... thats why i describe it in my intro . In many cases if they are not in the same focal plane the images does look less attractive , so i thought i like it that one is OOF . I do have also taken images where the FP was on the bull and the female OOF .

Hi Andreas, like the low PoV and I feel the second seal adds to the capture. Nice to see again the ISO allowing you to seize the capture and not let it slip through your hands with a slow SS.

If it was me, I might loose the green flanking the sides, less distracting I feel based on the colour palette.

I too like the 2nd seal. Cracking angle and again, like the pleasing soft pastel tones.

I like the positioning of both seals - given the back story it adds to them being together.
