    Hi Dan Always a nice find !!! Like the pose and bird's demeanor sure is giving you a look !!! Always prefer a lower angle and softer light. Did well with the exposure with just the slight white going over.

    btw since the bird is banded need to move it over to the other avian gallery Excellent image !!!!

    Beautiful light......gorgeous blue sky (although not what I would initially expect thinking of this bird). A lower angle would be nice....but I'd take anything I could get on this bird. I do see a sharpening halo which could be avoided if you select just the bird/perch to sharpen. Well done.

    What a lovely looking bird and image. I really like the head turn, pose and light. I have to agree with Lana regarding the sharpening!
