    Default Florida Burrowing Owl

I captured this image at Brian Piccolo Park in Pembroke Pines, Florida, with the handheld Nikon D500 (crop sensor) and AF-S Nikkor 200-500mm 1-5.6E ED VR.

I didn't want to remove any of the foreground were the little owl is standing since that's their environment. WDYT?

All C & C's will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for looking

love the pose and the symmetric stare, good BG and the raised foot adds more interest. Did you apply any highlight shadow or contrast enhancement? the plumage looks a bit overproecessed to my eye, otherwise a great frame

Great frame and pose! Well done Juan! Super background as well, just a pity that the one foot is hidden. TFS

A very nice Burrowing owl frame! Love the stare and the fact that both the eyes are fully lit. Nice BG colors and even though the one foot isn't seen, the other raised one makes up for it. Well done
