    Default European Bison procession

Hi all another frame from Kraansvlak
This herd of the Bisons approached me straight on .... i expected them to do this ... for whatever reason , to be honest i was just lucky .
With no sign of stress they came straight towards me and made their things , i had to move out of their way .
I just like the line up of the herd .... giving the image a nice depth from my POV.

    Canon EOS 1Dx II
    EF 200-400 IS L at 200 mm
    HH

F 5,6 ; Iso 4000; 1/2000 sec ; with hindsight a tad more DOF would not have hurt the image and might have given the second Bison more detail .

Processed with C1 and PS CC 2017 ; cropped from bottom and top for comp .

Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous thread .

    Cheers Andreas

I lke it as it is, I doubt if the second one would come into full focus and if it was "close" I think it would draw the eye from the leader who acts as a great intoducer to th eimage. I really like the light and the apparently soft coat. A very clean image.
(I tried C1 it is good in fact I was very impressed, but I kept finding I could get equally good images using DPP a lot quicker. I felt that C1 had a lot of administrative and clerical benefits I would never use).

Hi Andreas - This works very well. I too like how the bison in the distance give the image a sense of depth. Nice light hitting the lead bison. The tones and colors are excellent. It all works for me.

Hi Andreas -- This is such a pleasing frame , the techs are fine from my point of view as the depth that you referred to is depicted quite well. Also I liked the lighting on the main subject . Well seen and executed .

    TFS !
