Kevin, nice image good HA, BG, and catchlight.
The branch is a distraction IMO I would delete it and but the bird a little bit higher in the frame.

This is Fantastic!! Love the pose, BG and the killer details in this one.

I find the image just a little washed out on my monitor so I added some darks using levels and increased the contrast a few points. It gave it a bit more detail and pop IMO and added some more color. Not a huge change, just a little fine tuning.

I really like this one a lot!!

Thanks David ,yes some fine tuning can make some good changes to a photo. I like the green in the back ground better in your version . Mine looks to be a little to the yellow side.

this is beautiful Kevin love the dynamic pose and the BG. sharp. Tim did a great job cloning out the perch, on my monitor it is a bit too bright, reduce brightness by 1/3 crop and you have a winner!!! great frame

Thanks Arash, I left a little bit of the branch to give some idea where the bird was taking off from . I had a lot more of the branch but I thought it added to much to the bottom of the frame. Thanks again for the suggestions.

As already stated a superb image Kevin lovely pose wonderful detail it's fabulous great timing too . I'm debating whether I'd keep the take off point Kevin I find both very pleasing to the eye ,it's simply a great shot,so either works for me although I do like David's edit colour wise
Thanks for sharing gorgeous mate just gorgeous !
