Western Gull with Feather

Hi All,

I think this is my best image from my recent San Diego Trip. I returned from the trip today morning.

I took lots of California Brown Pelicans, Cormorants. I was going through my images, this one caught my eye.

This image was taken at La Jolla Shores on the walkway.

Nikon D500
500mm f/4 + 1.7x TC II (1275 effective focal length)
ISO 500, f/6.7, 1/1250 sec

Post processing:-
Added a little canvas to the left of the image
Noise Reduction using Neat Image
Feather details using Nik Color Effect Pro 4

Nice sharp image like the feather you could clone out some of the spots on the bill but i still think it looks good.

pretty nice head shot, the feather adds more interest to an otherwise a common bird. sharp with good exposure
