    Hello All,

I have been having a discussion with my wife regarding this particular photo. She is a jewelry artist so I appreciate her different perspective when it comes to photography versus silver jewelry design.

In this photo, my wife likes the branch above the Kestrel because "The branch frames the bird from above". I personally like a different version with the top branch cloned out.

    Thoughts?

Canon 7D MkII 600mm f/4L IS II USM and 1.4x III
Edite in DPP4 exported to TIF. Edited and cropped in Photoshop CC

Easy… clone it out, it's a major distraction and adds nothing to the picture.
Nice HA, BG and a big plus the addition of prey.

I find the upper branch quite distracting Mario so I'd take it out. The perch is plenty striking enough.

Thank you Tim. Your crop is pretty much what I wanted to do!

Marlo nice capture . The branch Tim cloned out is the best way to go. The branch over the head was very distracting.Added nothing to the photo. The perch the bird is on is very nice with the vine a plus.
