I just upgraded from the Canon 40D to a 1D Mark II and was out over the weekend to give it its first run.
It's quite a step up and I feel like I have a lot to learn to become comfortable with it, but I'm sure I'm going to love using it.
This GBH was captured shooting RAW with the 400/5.6L + 1.4x MkII
    1/640s f/10.0 at 560.0mm iso640

    Thanks for looking/commenting,
    Jay

Very nice light, details and I also like the BG. I'm glad you like your new camera and look forward to your posts. If this is not full frame and you have the entire reflection, I'm wondering if that would be another cropping option.

Very nice colors, and I like the habitat in the BG. I would crop the reflection a bit more to eliminate the green showing between the back and the edge of the frame. Good luck with the new gear!

Great light and colors. Would like to have seen more of the bird and the reflection.

As mentioned the lighting is beautiful and very nice detail. I agree with the above suggestions and look forward to your future posts. Thanks for sharing.
