We spent 2 days in Amboseli National Park, Kenya, hoping to see Mt Kilimanjaro and the elephants. The elephants walk from the foot hills around Kilimanjaro toward the swamp every morning to feed and drink, giving us many opportunities to catch them as they cross the roads. Here I wanted to capture them walking in single file. I used the 1.4X TC since the single file often got broken as they approach the road and seeing vehicles around. The BG is the base of Kilimanjaro, which was a bit hazy while we were there.

The drought has affected the landscape of Amboseli. Although there is plenty of water and food for the elephants in the swamp, the road was all very dusty and we didi not see as many elephants as we had hoped for. But the good sign is we saw many young babies in every family!

Hi Loi - This works very well. Nice choice on the dof and you've brought out good detail and texture on the eles' hides. The pano crop works. Only thing I wish is to be able to see a bit more of the babies.

Hi Loi, like the angle and contrast in the overall capture, but I wonder if you went higher to include the nice 'canopy' of the trees may have added to the frame? Still too low on the SS for me.

A nice lineup with good colour tone, Loi.
I agree going without the 1.4 might have given us a tad more context...
I've yet to see Amboseli so you have me green there!
