Hi all , just a quick one before i disappear again .
Sorry for being inactive for a short time , all sorts of stuff going on my side .
I am going tomorrow to visit the Netherlands for a couple of days , target is a semi wild area on the coast where in 2007 a herd of European Bison has been released .They live freely in that large but fenced area .
So i will take a look there, if i will be able to see them .You will see when i am back .

This image was taken recently on Helgoland , this youngster was swimming with mum in the surf , while a bull was more interested in mummy .

    Canon EOS 1Dx II
    EF 500 IS L II + 1,4 TC
HH lying right on the beach , got wet by that action

    F 8 ; Iso 10000 ; 1/1600 sec

Processed with C1 and PS CC 2017 ; cropped for comp from all sides .

Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous thread

    Cheers Andreas

Hi Andreas -- Superb image this is ! Loved the emerging from water look , would have loved a bit more raised head but understand that such things are not in our control. Another lovely high iso image , very nicely done . All the best for your trip .

    TFS !

This is a really nice perspective, Andreas!
Feels like we are in the surf with him. I think you can also go full B&W on this one? Really tease out the tonal range?

Hi Andreas - I like this a lot. Great low perspective and the curl of the wave works really well. Your comments have been missed so hurry back and good luck with the bison.

    Rachel

Lovely image Andreas. Love the peak-a-boo head shot which draws attention to the 3-D eye. The wave actions are great. Impressive IQ at ISO-10000. Loi
