We came across some young males feeding early in the morning, just after 7.00am, however one of them felt he would assert his authority and made a small mock charge, this was just after, as we did not move, he then came closer.

Steve, as usual, you handled the techs well. Well exposed and good details on the shadow. The image seems a bit bright overall to me. Loi

Bet it must be a bit of a worry when your not sure how serious they are,the Elephant it's self looks really good, think it would give this fine beast even more impact without the other Elephant, but hey Steve it would be lovely if everything went the way we would like when shooting wildlife.

Hi Steve -- Nicely done yet again , must have been thrilling to witness a mock charge up close . Details looks nice and the exposure good as well . I don't find any flaws here but I didn't liked the elephant in the BG intersecting with the main subjects ears , wish it was not there but nothing much one can do in such situations .

Typical Bots mid-morning look here to the colours and light, Steve :)
Nice one, do wish that the one behind was more to the left and separated?

Hi Steve - Glad it was a mock charge and nice textures brought out. I too wish that there was some separation between the two eles. Colors look good.

Hi Steve well handled color / tone and contrast , with a lot of fine detail . Good example what this tool delivers .
I do agree that a little bit more separation between the Elephants would have been better , but .....
Nice head on of the one who checked you out .
I might loose the dead tree on RHS in the BG giving a cleaner look .

    Thanks folks.

I might loose the dead tree on RHS in the BG giving a cleaner look .
It would then be too tight Andreas and it's part of the environment too.
