    I took this image last week at my local lake in Miami Lakes Florida with the handheld Nikon D500 (crop sensor) and AF-S Nikkor 200-500mm 1-5.6E ED VR.

    I like the composition that includes the full reflection. Good light, colours, sharpness. Having the wing fully down would have been better IMO, but I'm guessing the duck was gliding down. The imsge does need some CW rotation - if you draw a straight line from bill tip to bill tip you'll notice that line angling slightly from left to right.

    A very nice flight shot, with good techs. Yes, a full-down wing position would have raised it a notch, but good frame as presented. These handsome ducks are so common that they often don't get the attention they deserve.
