I captured this image of a Great Blue Heron flying to a safe place to separate the fish from sticks and eat it's catch at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

The action is well captured and the bird engages with good eye contact. A little more selective sharpening on the face will lift this image even more. Did the bird manage to eat the fish eventually? TFS!
Pose and sharpness look good. I love the prey item mixed in with debris - lots of interest there. I'd have preferred the heron further back in the frame. Light was harsh, resulting in strong contrast. Hard to resist the opportunity no matter the light conditions! You could try reducing the contrast in post - especially the blacks.
