Size: 380.3 KB

An image I captured a few weeks ago during an outing to photograph the skeletal forms of winter trees at sunrise.

    Nikon D800
    Nikon 18-35mm lens @ 27mm
    ISO 100
    f16 @ 4 seconds

Looking forward to comments and suggestions.

    Hi Andrew
Quite beautiful... Love the simplicity and the colour. My only suggestion is to try a little more sharpening on the branches and fine twigs especially. I imported the Jpeg into photoshop and using the HP filter Morkel posted on a sticky a few years ago applied sharpening using a 2 pixel setting at 20% opacity... See what you think...

A simple comp with a graphic element and warm colors and light, what more do you need for a image. Well done

Hi Andrew - I quite like the simplicity of this and the warm hues of sunrise juxtaposed against the cold winter scene. Well done.

Love the mood and simplicity here Andrew...
Perhaps just tone down the magenta hue in the snow? Not entirely, just muted.
