Displaying Ring-necked Duck

Here is another shot of this Ring-necked Duck that I was lucky to find and photograph at Clove Lakes Park in Staten Island, New York. This one with a looser crop on the bird. Photographed while lying in deep snow.

Canon 1DX and Canon 500 f4 ii + 1.4xiii. F7.1, ISO 800, SS 1/2000.

Converted in DPP 4.5. In PS I cropped. Applied NR to the bird and background with Neat Image and sharpened.

Another nice post of a Ring-necked Duck, also showing the chestnut ring. I have photographed many Ring-necks and have never seen them do this. I hope to capture it one day. Thank you for sharing, Isaac.
