One from last years popping season. I'm no expert, but I think this is some kind of bonding between the mothers and the pups in an effort to get the pups to latch on for feeding. Either way its cute and entertaining!

Mike I think the fast shutter speed really paid off here - lovely details throughout. The narrow DOF is ideal from my point of view, concentrating attention on the heads and mum's flipper. Not very often we get to see the adult's ear hole either!
My only suggestion would be a very soft surface blur on the background OOF grasses.

Too cute. That pup is really enjoying this! Even the adult has a slight grin of contentment. Good comp, and point of view. Perfect dof for the pair, but I agree with Jon that perhaps subtly and carefully blurring the BG would work.

Hi Mike -- This is very nicely done , lovely moment and the image has nice details as well. The whites on the baby are on the borderline for me . A fine image nonetheless.
