    I took this image this morning at my local lake in Miami Lakes Florida with the handheld Nikon D500 (crop sensor) and AF-S Nikkor 200-500mm 1-5.6E ED VR
    ISO 500
    f6.3
    1/2000
    500mm
    Manual Mode
    Processed in LR and PS.
    Crop around 50%

    very nice hawk, you got him sharp but the steep angle was not in your favor here. I hope you can get him lower in the sky next time. I feel there is too much empty space in this frame

    Sharp, and with a pretty neat eye. As well as agreeing with Arash, I will add that the sky could be toned down and its' hue tweaked as it has a bit of an "electric" neon feel. I'm sure it was pretty cool to see one zip by over your head like that.

    Thank you Arash and Daniel...That's one of the reasons that I'm here for, to learn from the best. I think I have an image when the hawk is approaching me. I will look for it, but I think the wing position is not the best, I'll post it later to get your opinion. When I saw the hawk from the distance I thought it was a grackle and didn't put much interest until it was close enough, then I got too excited...hopefully I'll have another chance in the future.
