Firstly a word of gratitude to everyone viewing and commenting on my flying Galah image, your input is really valued. Continuing on the flying parrot theme I photographed this Little Corella as it came in to roost for the night in tall Eucalypt trees at my local wetland. I had plenty of golden light on the mostly white bird and the background was an overcast sky with rain clouds building.

Canon 1DxII, EF 600 f4 II + 1.4TCIII, ISO 500, f5.6, 1/1600, hand held. Developed with PS CC, NIK Dfine, large crop for composition.

    Comments and advice appreciated.

Another wonderful in flight shot. Great focus, detail and light. If you have the sequence of the bird before it passed you it would be even better.

great wing position, sharp. a few moments earlier with the bird flying towards you would have been ideal
