    Default Yellow throated toucan

Not the best lighting but I was not going to pass on my first opportunity at one of these guys especially on this perch . Canon 5DIV, 100-400II. ISO800,f5,6@1/1250sec. Thanks for looking and any input.

Hi Joe, it's amazing how well the curved shapes on this bird fit in so well with the perch. You almost couldn't have done better if you'd been able to ask the bird to pose on a pre-determined prop! For me the bright colors of the bird work really well in the subdued lighting and the dark background,
    Cheers David

I am in agreement that you couldn't have done better with the hand you were dealt. The perch is extremely interesting with those curves and the texture. The bird's psoe goes well with the perch. The BG is lovely. I think this is a terrific image, and it's unique which is always a good thing.

Very cool Joe. Must be awesome just to have one of these beauties in your viewfinder. The techs look great and I like the unique perch along with the green BG. Well done

Great shot, with a great curvy perch to back up a colorful bird
