    During the winter we get a few of these ducks at different locations occasionally, this one is from a couple of years ago.

    Wow Tim, a stunning image of a truly magnificent bird. Wonderful colors and lighting, and sharp in all the places it needs to be. When I see things like this I understand what attracts people to this discipline. I particularly like the turbulent water ripples in front of the bird, seems to add an extra dynamic to the image and turn it into more of an action shot than a static portrait.

    Very nice. The lighting is pleasing and the duck beautiful. I have never seen one in person so thanks for sharing.

    What lens Tim? Cool portrait of a bird I know well my pref is always for smooth water with these I feel they are so gaudy in colour water such as yours competes with them person pref Tim nowt more. Great detail throughout, lovely light.
