**** that's beautiful! Those colors just all work so good. Is that close to full frame as well?

So this is what sub par auto focus with the 2x attached looks like on the 5d4? Man you killed it with these owls. Perfect in every way as usual with your shots. Truly something to aspire to.

Stunning. Lovely light; tack sharp focus on the face.

Beautiful landing pose - are those techs correct? 1/800th is unusually slow for you. On my screen the face appears a little over sharpened, compared to the rest of the bird.

The colour palette is just about perfect

Thank you all, Joe it is about 70% of the frame. Mike, the sharpness looks good to my eye, the talons are a bit softer because of motion blur. I was setup for perched shots when this guy suddenly showed up and didn't have time to change my settings.

Stunning image. I always get a laugh when people rail against the 2x teleconverter and call it junk, oddly they never have much to say once I point them to some of your photos.

Hi Ryan, the canon 2X III and series II super telephoto lenses deliver excellent sharpness. folks who say otherwise either don't have the equipment or don't know how to use it :)
