    I was able to get very close to this guy as when i showed up to the reported location , someone was already baiting him.
    Quite spectacular seeing one so close. I know the head angle isn't perfect but this is the best angle I could get.
    Neat noise reduction on the background and sharpening only on the bird.
    Only cropped from the sides to make it vertical.

    It might not be the down the barrel stare, but its pretty close, and a good look at both eyes. To me, the head angle works as it looks natural, as opposed to him checking out what the strange clicking noise is.

    I like the way he is tucked into the broken tree trunk. Good detail and the bg compliments the Owls coloring.
