    Default Ruddy Turnstone

    Hello,

I luckily happened upon a Ruddy Turnstone foraging on the exposed rocks of the jetty as the tide was dropping. I did add some canvas to the left of the bird to give it a bit more space in the frame.

    Canon 5D III, 600mm ISO 1250 f/8 1/400

Appreciate any suggestions for shooting or post-processing.

Hi Celeste nice clean shot. I think you did well adding some canvas. Also to me the top of the birds head appears softer than the middle of the bird and may have lost some detail in the whites. I like the back ground very much nice Photo.

Celeste, I love the orange legs of the bird and green vegetation on the rock. I have never added canvas before; it looks great to me, the subject is just right in the frame.
