I had 7 bluejays in my backyard last week and they are usually very tolerant of me, so I went out and set up a stump with some peanuts. Right when i got the camera set up , this tiny woodpecker shows up and chased them all away . I didn't see them for the rest of the day.
Had I known she wanted her picture taken i would have set up a smaller perch , but then the bluejays would have probably used it ha ha ha.
I cropped quite a bit from the left to remove most of the out of focus stump , I also used neat noise reduction on the background and used smartsharpen on the bird in photoshop.

Blacks and whites of the bird look really good ,wonder how this bird would look a little lower down the trunk just my personal view of course.
