    Default Cormorant wing span

La Jolla's double crested cormorant doing some laundry... I am a little torn about the guano on the perch.

Great the way you have caught this with it's outspread wings showing all the fine feather detail, nice uncluttered BG,I'm ok with the droppings it's just natural.

Sharp focus, great detail and perfect exposure on the always difficult black feathers. I like it.

Beautiful detail in this one, good head turn towards us. Super image. I would have liked the right wing to extend out just a little more for perfect symmetry as I feel this shot calls for that type of symmetry...still that is a really picky point!!

    Thanks guys!

Geoff, I was also wishing for a more symmetrical wing. Hopefully, next time!

    Nice image! Blacks look great.
I would add a bit more space on the LHS to make it more symmetrical ( or take a bit off the RHS )
I am OK with the guano but I can see why you would prefer it not to be there,
