    I captured this image of a Crested Caracara along Joe Overstreet Road in Kenansville, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D7000
    Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S ED shot at 400mm (600mm FFE)
    1/1600 F/5.6 Matrix Metering EV +1 ISO 560 AWB
    Post processed in Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC 2017, cleaned up the eye in Photoshop, dodged the eye in Lightroom, noise reduction to the background, colored a few specular highlights on the front of the legs

    Lovely shot Joe I like the pose and the composition and colours. iIwonder if contrast is a tad high? I feel there is a little detail missing in the darkest and lightest areas.

    Love, love the feather in the nail!
    Whites look good but blacks seem a bit off. Not sure what the issue is.

    Gail and Bill, this is a repost. I opened the shadows and tweaked the settings a little bit. Bill, I checked, there is no noise reduction to the bird only the background.
