This Peregrine was chasing waders on the Belfast Harbour Reserve and on this occasion this knot escapes its clutches. The light was poor and it is a massive crop but gives a nice feeling of panic in the wader and speed of the peregrine. Sigma 500 Canon 1d2n

Despite the heavy crop and lack of details, it shows the dramatic scene really well. You could try to sharpen the birds more and run noise reduction on the BG. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, what action!!! You could try duplicating the layer, multiply as blending mode and reduce opacity to taste, the sharpen the birds.

Really nice action! Pity about the big crop..but never mind, there's always next time!

I love the action, it's a tough act to catch. I never tire of seeing this interaction. I see plenty of this at Cape May,NJ while I'm trapping & banding raptors.
