    the action is excellent, love how the snake is hanging on to his life and fighting for it. Excellent BG too, the IQ however isn't great, the bird is soft, grainy and lacks fine details.

    A neat action shot, Arun. I think the subject you have captured outweighs the deficiencies in sharpness that Arash pointed out to make it a great record shot.

    The more the stork swallows the snake, the tighter it throttles itself. What a dilemma!

    Excellent timing on your capture! I appreciate the points raised by Arash and Mike. It is always helpful to post your full camera settings and lens details, as it helps us understand the image better. I suspect because of the noise, the ISO was up, but still useful to know the details.

    Interesting image, Arun. I have watched Great Blue Herons doing the same thing, much the same predicament. Thank you for sharing.

    thanks Randy....the settings was for BIF and cropping was done too....I have a shot of the bird flying with the snake too.....this shot was just before flight..

    Very cool action captured! Must have been incredible to witness in person. Feather detail could be better, but the D810 isn't the best camera at handling higher ISOs.
