    Another from Magee Marsh on a dimly lit day last May. You can tell I'm already ready for Spring. Cropped from horizontal.

    D7200, 80-400 VR @ 390mm, ISO 2000, 1/640s @ f/7.1 manual.

    Hi Bill -- this is great. Nice perch and background and the bird really pops. I like the head angle and catchlight. Hopefully spring comes early this year!

    Liked the pose and the perch, did you blur the background in post processing? I'd probably crop a bit from the right and also top.

    Hi Bill, Good choice of comp with the plant rising up through the frame. I like the look back pose, and the yellows stand out nicely against the grey's of the BG.

    Lovely natural pose and a good colours ,that's a cracking looking Warbler which you have captured very well Bill.Soon be spring and hope you get plenty more of these.

    Thank you all for looking. Nikhil, I processed this quite some time ago and can't remember what I did to it, but it does look as if I applied some blur to the BG. I think I'll leave the crop as is -- I could imagine a bit off the top but wouldn't want to take any off the right which is where she is looking.
