    I captured this image along Black Point Wildlife Drive in Merritt Island NWR, Merritt Island, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D7000
    Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 AF-S ED shot at 400mm (600mm FFE)
    1/1600 F/5.6 Matrix Metering EV 0 ISO 320 AWB, image captured through an open car window
    Post processed in Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC 2017, removed a few intruding twigs, cleaned up the eye in Photoshop, dodged the eye in Lightroom
    Cropped for composition and presentation

    Hi Joseph,

    I like the perch, pose, and composition of this. I'm not sure if it's from the crop or possibly raising exposure in post or maybe sharpening, but I'm seeing noise on the bird in particular on the head and tail feathers. Thanks for sharing this

    Very nice pose and light. Noise is there but seems minimal on my screen. I might try a little brightening of the eye.

    Nice pose and perch is perfect size for bird. Might sharpen head just a tad to give a little more umph to the whiskers.
