You sure don't associate hummers with snow!! This looks great Dan. Nice pose, colors and details. Well done.

What a lovely surprise here with the snow Dan, wow! I like the detail and the iridescence contrasting the muted BG, why is this hummer in the snow?

    Thanks Ann and David.
Anna's are year round residents in the Pacific NW and we have just had a foot of snow in Portland.
They don't like it but don't leave. My wife uses warmers on their feeders to keep them thawed out during these events.

I like the pose, patchy iridescent feathers, winter setting and balanced composition. Very well done Dan!

Echoing what everyone else has said so far -- I really like this shot. Great details, color, DOF, and setting. TFS
