The tutorial is great too. It's the most important thing in avian photography IMHO opinion as you know. Getting close to your subject and the correct sun angle!! Lots of good info. TFS

Arash, this is outstanding photography, congratulations on such quality. I like the image very much along with the ones in your tutorial. Out of curiosity how much of a crop is the image?
I am familiar and agree entirely with your tutorial and if it is at all possible I try to do similar but the SEOs at my patch are becoming increasingly skittish due to photographers rambling around and not making the most of cover, plus dog walkers roaming all over the place. It is no wonder they are spending more time away from the fringes of the marsh.

Arash another big thank you for the tutorial ,it is so true just occassionally one finds a raptor that is more tolerant of us and such chances are very special. I love your SEO shots,I'm hoping beyond hope ours start getting up in the day before they go back home to breed,such amazing birds such ajoy to watch let alone make images of.
Arash why did you shoot in landscape and crop to portrait ? Is there a reason you didn't frame this in portrait,I've half a hunch you might reply with I was hoping for a take off,but am very unsure.
