I like the dynamic pose and the BG. The light was a bit harsh here resulting in a contrasty image. I would put more space around him

Great timing with the take off, but I agree that a little negative space would be a very good thing. The colours look a bit saturated, but it may be possible to revisit the shot and get a nicer result if you have more room available.
