    This is one from the local harbour, same place as I was photographing the eiders, last week. This Goldeneye was captured late afternoon sun.

    Nice work Will, the head details are wonderful, even a rim of tan at the base that i have never seen before, wow! Love the wake bow too! well done.

    Can't tell you how envious I am of your waterfowl shots. I just can't get anywhere near a goldeneye or eider around New York City. And if I am able to get decently close it is always when they are in the wrong sun direction.

    Agree with what has been said. Nice exposure and details are great. Love the emerald green on the head. Very nice...
