Hi Jon - I love it when an animal poses on a ridge at YNP so that you get some of the landscape in the bg and this works quite well. Nice pose from the pronghorn and exp well handled. Only thing I might like is just a sliver more room below.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Lovely image Jon, exposure nicely handled and lovely details. Nice setting to frame an animal and you have done pretty well on that count. +1 on some more space at the bottom .

Lovely image Jon, super detail on the subject and so well exposed!

Please could you pinch from another frame those few mm needed at the bottom here?

Love this, beautiful setting indeed, well seen and captured and nice PP work too, let us see some more?

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi Jon lovely stuff with good overall IQ .... keep them coming .
Lovely fine detail in the fur and well controlled lighting. Agree with Rachel regarding the appealing animal on ridge effect and that you need more space below .
    Very nice work Jon .

Thanks very much for your comments everyone. I used a slightly different schedule for this one (which incidentally seemed to work well in the avain forum too - bullfinch). I have begun to rely less and less upon Nik filters and have been using TK panel varying the opacity according to subject.
(I did not use the ALO tab in DPP I am beginning to think it is not necessary for 100-400L IS II, but it is fine for the 24-105mm L lens)

Hi Jon, great detail & clarity and the 'form' shows well the 'athletic' build of this subject. Can only echo more space below for the image to work. However if you only have this then I would address the three white blobs and few in the BKG, just a td distracting.

Nice setting and pose here indeed!
Echoing what others said on the space at the bottom - I would shave some off the top if you don't have more below.
