    A very Happy New Year, folks!!

    Visiting Dead Vlei in Namibia can be daunting if you've seen plenty of photos taken by others at this location. Nevertheless, I tried to capture my own vision of the place - whether I succeeded is open to discussion.

    I also like the perspective here. I could see the bottom cropped off a little bit but I really like how you frame the far tree using the foreground so much!

    Happy New Year Morkel! I really like this scene. You did very well with creating something we have not seen before. I like the subdued tones of the distant sand dunes as all we usually see are the vibrant images. This images has a nice uniqueness to it that we do not always get to see.
