    I captured this image in May of 2014 at Reed's Beach and our timing put us there with the sun, not by any means in an ideal position, but the Red Knots were very busy looking for Horseshoe Crab eggs. C&C welcome.

    D700, Nikon 500mm + 1.4 TC, 1/2000s, f 8.0, ISO 1000, Gitzo tripod, Wimberley Gimbal head.

    Hi Geoff, lovely low angle, and I like the feather detail and various colours on this fellow. Good to see the incoming surf, and just wish he hadnt turned his head so far. Due to the OOF surf in the FG, I would maybe take a bit off the bottom.

    HI Geoff, I also like the low angle, nice color and detail. Just me but I might be inclined to remove the specular highlights in the surf. Thank you for sharing.
