    Default TK Panel V5

Hi folks for all of you who are interested in the use of luminosity masks in their digital workflow and for those of you guys who already use the great PS panel of Tony Kuyper , here are good news .
Tony has updated and created a new version of his panel , even more powerful but also a little more complex in its use .
Check it out on his website .
Well worth a visit and a good place to learn about the basics of luminosity masking .
There are two versions of the new panel : one for PS CS 6 and one for PS CC.

Look here : TKActions V5--The most comprehensive luminosity mask panel ever.

Cheers and a Happy New year , Andreas

I am always looking for different tools, so can you let me know how you use the TK panels in your workflow (when you use it, advantages etc)? Luminosity masks seem to be one of those things people find really useful or ignored and most web descriptions center around 'HDR-type' processing.
Thank you in advance for any advice.

Hi Mike i use luminosity masks in each and every image editing ... the use is or could be complex , so way too long to explain here .
I would recommend that you visit Tony Kuyper´s website for in depth info on his panel , he has a lot of info on his site .
There are videos on YouTube created by Shawn Bagshaw on how to use the panels created by Tony.
Hope you understand that i cannot go into depth here .

For me the most important stuff in my WF .... as it allows me to work very locally in parts of the image or even globally .
    Just check it out .

Hope this helps to point you in the right direction .

    Cheers Andreas

Great advice from Andreas you do need to be comfortable with and understand selections, mask, and layers to get the most benefit from them so you do need a good understanding of PS. I cannot recommend highly enough Shawn's tutorials also well worth the money he charges.
