    Default Tricolored Heron

After the fog, the heron came to light.

Lovely image, Frank. It appears that is may have been a cool morning in the fog, the bird has it's feathers fluffed up to stay warm. Love the mood the fog has created. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful image, Frank. Like your low pov, and the rich colors as the fog fades away. Nice sharp detail.

Beautiful muted BG and such a nice contrast to the strong tai-colored heron colors. Maybe a slight CCW, love the ruby eye and your placement of the heron. TFS

A beautiful image, very nicely processed to make the heron pop from the subtle BG. Terrific comp. I can't tell exactly where the top of the frame is without a 1px line around it, but I have a feeling that it could use a little more room at top so that the bird doesn't feel scrunched in the frame.

Hi Frank, excellent low perspective, and you have captured the plumage detail so well. Overall sharp, and the colours of the Heron blend in nicely with the colours of the water. The ripples are a touch deceptive, so I feel a touch of CCW rotation could be played around with.

Nice and peaceful. The overall ruffled appearance of the plumage makes the image for me. Nicely done.
