Default Pied-billed Grebe With A Mouthful of a Fish

I'm always amazed when birds swallow fish that look bigger than the bird. This Pied-billed Grebe had no trouble swallowing its breakfast whole!

That is one heck of a large fish for that small grebe. Super capture and love the feel and color of the water behind the bird.

Doug, I real like the side light on this one, plus the magical water and prey as an added bonus, good job.

That sure is a big fish for this little guy. Probably won't have to eat for a few days after that meal. Great details and colors and I like the red gills showing well. Yes to a bit less on the bottom. See ya soon buddy
