    Default Tamron 150-600 G2 Question

First, is anyone out there using this lens? I'm considering buying one and will be using it on an older Canon 7D (original version) and a Canon 5D Mark II. I've heard of AF issues with the 7D and wonder if the newer version helps or hinders the issue. Thanks

It's a solid lens that produces really sharp images. Unless you need weatherproofing I'm not sure it's worth the extra $$$ over the cost of a Sigma 150-600 Contemporary.

To echo Doug, I had the chance to use one and found it to be quite sharp and felt that it was easy to handle.

Alex - Doug - Have either of you had a chance to use the lens with a Canon 7D or 5D? Wondering how the lens handles AF with these older bodies. Thanks
