This was shot with David Salem from his truck a few weeks ago. Have taken out a branch and tried not to over sharpen.

Excellent pose and light Ian, the head is a bit oversharpened and shows some artifacts, everything else is great

Nice dynamic pose and good back ground. I am not familiar with this species so can`t really comment on it`s colour etc. Overall a very pleasing image.

What a beautiful pose in terrific light. Nicely exposed.

I love the pose, perch and background. Those spread wings are great. However I think that the colors are too muted. Having seen thousands of these birds including one today, I have never seen one that looks as dull as this one. If mine I would up the saturation on this shot to bring out more of the beauty of this fine lady. Their breasts are more of an orange color, their heads are a deeper slatey blue. An easy fix for an otherwise beauty of a shot. Looking forward to more

Like the pose and eye contact. I agree with Isaac that the colors look somewhat subdued. Also I think there's a cloning artifact to the left of the base of the perch.

Looks as though you may have been shooting with Mr. Salem. Unique pose. Agree the colors need a pop.

Great looking landing pose of our little lady Ian. The details look great and I do agree with the others on a bit more pop.
Decrease the exposure a little and then add some more saturation to it and I think you will like it better.
Well done and looking forward to more from our fun time together!
