Captured this image a week ago under the last rays of sun that were poking though the tree line at the edge of this field in a local wildlife preserve. There were a number of NOHA, including at least one Gray Ghost harassing at least two Short-eared Owls as they both were hunting for the same pray. C&C welcome

I like the posed the display of the environment, unfortunately the IQ is not great, the image is too dark and harrier doesn't show much details

A Great bird captured in a beautiful setting. I agree with Arash, the image is too dark. I love the location you have here, it looks so fitting for this Harrier.

Yes, nice habitat and framing but way too dark as presented.

This definitely captures the mood of that evening, as the light had all but disappeared (and my fingertips were freezing). Its worth trying to brighten the bird a bit, and maybe the bg.

I love the habitat and comp. I agree about the IQ and darkness. If you do rework the image take note of the odd black blob at top that would be best removed.

Thanks for the input everyone. Though I like the original, this repost being a bit brighter does show more detail. Thanks Daniel for your sharp eye.
