    Happy New Year. My first shot for 2017 with another go at these difficult birds. Cropped, lightened and NR to bird.
    1DXII 400mm F/2.8L IS II 1/2500 f6.3 iso1600 +2ev.

    Wonderfully done. You did a great job of showing the underwing detail in the dark bird/white sky conditions. And very sharp. May we assume hand held?

    Thanks Artie, yes hand held. No way one could keep up with these birds with a tripod mounted camera.
