    Default Dewy Autumn Sumac

    Last October the early morning dew sparkling on bright red autumn sumac caught my eye. The bright direct sunlight was way too harsh when sharply focused, and a diffuser just made the dew disappear. I think this wide-open, defocused image best captured the sparkle that caught my eye in the first place. What do you think?

    Canon 20D, Sigma 150mm f/2.8 macro, Av 1/640 at f/2.8, ISO 100, manually defocused, tripod

    CSPS2: increased contrast slightly

    Excellent idea Chris That is what I would call making soup from a rock !!!! Don't think you could have made a different image Love the creative vision !!!! Big Congrats !!!!
