    Default Eastern Kingbird

Photographed in upstate New York on the weekend. It was very warm and humid and this kingbird lifted the wings because of that.

    Default Hello Axel

Love the background and the somewhat spread wings...kind of reminds me of a great blue heron beginning their wing spread to dissipate heat when it's warm and humid outside.

Excellent pose with a very nice subject love the bg might tone down the top of the bill and the left of the perch also brighten the eye a tad to bring out the natural color

    nice

Nice as presented Axel! The subtle behavior is a plus. I might tone down the bottom left of the perch but that's about it.

Thanks for the repost, John. The perch looks good, I find the eye a bit too bright, at least on my monitor.

I'm wondering if some of the blacks near the head (especially in the back and the cheek) area could go a tad darker. Otherwise really nice! I like the vertical pose :-)

Just insert all the positive things said above and that's my feelings. With the beak toned down it's about close to perfect in my eyes.

    Axel
I sure like the pose.....and those wings. Simplicity at it's best. The repost looks good on my current laptop.....but it might have some bright areas on my other one. Therefore I'll just keep drooling now.
